Our Modern Tanto represents a contemporary interpretation of what the renowned Samurai tanto would look like in our time. Using the best of the latest technological materials, the low maintenance of this tanto is perfect for the urban warrior of today. The humble attributes of this tanto bely its true strength and resilience. The 10 1/2” 1566 steel blade features a real hamon line with a copper habaki and seppa. The tsuka encapsulates the tang in textured G10 and dual pinned for a secure grip and is unremovable. The silver menuki on the tsuka are shi shi (lion dogs) are embedded in the handle.
