Dragon Iaito

This Dragon Iaito is a starter sword for practicing Iaido in the respected Japanese dragon theme. This beginners Iaito boasts upgraded fittings over our other starter swords with more attention put to weight and balance. Unlike many Iaito made of alloy or stainless steels this sword has a tempered high carbon steel blade, double pinned handle through a traditional length tang just like cutting swords to handle more accurately . This is the Practical Dragon Katana with our “Iaido Safe Edge”. The cutting edge is carefully removed, with the tip slightly rounded and buffed to a smooth finish that is unable to cut, making the katana safe for Iaido.
